Mrs. Maria Ruiz

Mrs. Ruiz will be joining our team at N.W. Harllee Early Childhood Center this year to teach Pre-K 4. Mrs. Ruiz was born in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico and was raised by her grandmother. Mrs. Ruiz emigrated to USA as a teenager to reunite with her parents. Her parents were migrant workers and had to travel Up North every Summer too work in the fields. Due to this humble upbringing Mrs. Ruiz had to work extra hard to earn her HS Diploma.  Mrs. Ruiz earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science from the University of North Texas and her Bilingual certification EC-4 from Dallas ISD AC program. Mrs. Ruiz loves teaching young children. She taught Kindergarten for 10 years and Pre-K for 4 years. Mrs. Ruiz comes from a leadership school and she would love to continue these leadership skills with her Pre-K students. When Mrs. Ruiz is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves watching movies with her daughter and 2 dogs and she loves eating at different restaurants with her husband.

Mrs. Ruiz se unirá a nuestro equipo de N. W. Harllee Early Childhood Center este año para dar clases a los niños de preescolar de 4 años. Mrs. Ruiz nació en Reynosa Tamaulipas, México y a ella la crío su abuelita. Mrs. Ruiz emigro a los Estados Unidos siendo una adolescente para reunirse con sus padres. Sus padres eran trabajadores migrantes que viajaban al Norte cada Verano a los trabajos del campo. Por esa causa tan humilde Mrs. Ruiz tuvo que trabajar muy duro para poder terminar sus estudios preparatorios. Mrs. Ruiz obtuvo su licenciatura en artes aplicadas y ciencias de la Universidad de North Texas y su certificado bilingüe EC-4 del programa de Dallas ISD AC. A Mrs. Ruiz le encanta dar clases a niños pequeños. Fue maestra de Kínder por 10 años y de preescolar por 4 años. Mrs. Ruiz viene de una escuela en la cual se enseña a los niños como ser lideres y desea continuar enseñando esas habilidades de liderazgo a los niños de su clase preescolar. Cuando Mrs. Ruiz no esta dando clases ella dedica su tiempo a sus familiares y amigos. A ella le encanta mirar películas al lado de su hija y sus dos perros y también le encanta ir a comer a diferentes tipos de restaurantes al lado de su esposo.
